WHAT IS THE HISTORY OF IPLANIT?

Aspirico is a leading international health and human services technology company. Founded in 2006 by a group of experienced technology and social care executives, Aspirico is motivated by a driving passion to promote inclusion, transparency, person centred service delivery and to give people and providers tools which will allow them to maximise limited resources. Frustrated with traditional case management systems which tended to focus on measuring “inputs” by staff, Aspirico founders wanted to compliment this capability with the ability to engage service users and family directly and also measure “impact” and efficiency of services provided.

The company name Aspirico is derived from the word “Aspire” and points to our mission to create and deliver inclusive, world class technology solutions which allow people in long term care and community support settings to take control of their life aspirations and their health – thus our company motto “Achieving life’s potential”. During 2007 – 2010 the company carried out an extensive international research and development program developing a web based support planning framework with leading clients such as SCOPE UK and others. Using this platform, iplanit evolved rapidly during 2008 -10 and Version 1 was launched in early 2010 following a two year development phase. Early contributors included a group of “best practice” person centred providers across the UK and Ireland plus input from leading international consultants such as Paradigm.

iplanit has continued to evolve with input from a growing number of providers to incorporate the needs of older people, mental health and children’s services. Now at Version 5.0, iplanit is used extensively across all of these settings and variants have been released to meet the needs of international markets also such as New Zealand and Australia.

HOW DO I CHECK WHETHER IPLANIT IS RELEVANT TO MY TEAM/ORGANISATION?
Please contact Aspirico sales at enquiry@aspirico.com for a discussion.
WHAT PLANNING APPROACHES, GOALS AND REPORT TEMPLATES ARE INCLUDED IN IPLANIT?

Over the years, Apsirico have developed and deployed thousands of best practice approaches to Person Centred Planning, outcome frameworks, needs assessments, and compliance along with risk management, datasets, and related reports within our international markets.

CAN WE INCORPORATE OUR OWN PLANNING TEMPLATES, REPORTS AND GOALS/OUTCOMES?
Yes, we have created a range of intelligent wizards to allow non-technical users easily add new content as needed.
HOW DO YOU CHARGE FOR IPLANIT?
iplanit is charged for on an annual subscription basis which is based on the number of service users which the provider works with. This allows prospective users to quickly get up and running on the system without any capital costs or infrastructure requirement. Client-specific changes can be added and tailored remotely in a much more cost-effective manner than traditional systems.
HOW AND WHEN CAN I ACCESS IPLANIT?
The services can be securely accessed 24*7 over any internet connection using all standard internet browsers. The system can be hosted 1) internally by the service provider, 2) by a preferred third party (such as British Telecom) or 3) by Aspirico. The service can be accessed from team member laptops, desktop computers, tablets and other mobile devices through a secure login from any connected screen to the internet.
HOW PRIVATE AND SECURE IS MY DATA?

Aspirico is fully ISO27001 certified ensuring that your service user information and data are completely secure. Also, as the information is securely accessed in controlled central server locations, there is no risk of sensitive information getting lost or stolen on portable computing devices. Please refer to our security and privacy section elsewhere on this website for complete details.

WHAT IF THE TEAM ARE NOT ALL COMPUTER EXPERTS?
iplanit is specifically designed to be an intuitive, self-service tool for the non-technical user. To this end, we have included help and explanatory texts within each screen on the system along with lookup features to provide additional information. As such minimal training should be sufficient for a system “administration” level user. Most team members should be able to use the system without detailed training. The system is also specifically designed to support a “dual operation” world where some users continue to user paper records (at least in part) where required. We also offer onsite and remote training support detailed in the services section of this website.
HOW DO I SET UP THE SYSTEM FOR MY SPECIFIC NEEDS?
iplanit offers a range of services detailed in the services section of this site. This work can mostly be carried out offsite without a lot of client resources. The system administrator will have access to all the configuration tools as part of the administration console where all settings to reflect individual needs are set up. For any specific needs over and above the standard system, the Aspirico team will carry out a consultation and agree these in writing in advance.
DOES MY ADMINISTRATOR NEED TO BE A TECHNICAL PERSON?
No. The system administration activity can be carried out by any computer literate person. Typically any member of the team or administration staff can perform this function. Once the system is set up, this activity is minimal.
HOW DO I CONTROL THE EXTENDED TEAM ACCESS AND PERMISSIONS?
Most organisations will wish to manage the access rights and permissions for specific users. All users can be set up to have either read-only, read and write access, or limited screens access – these settings can be applied to all of the modules and screens within the system.
